In this paper two models of eddy current sensor have been presented. They are base don a one- and multi-turn coil model. The results of computer simulations present a relation of eddy current density on nonferromagnetic conducting materials versus some parameters viz: a coil radius, frequency of excitation current and conductivity of material.© (2001) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
